Bridging loans for customers with adverse
Posted: 02/11/2017
Most lenders are reluctant to offer bridging loans for customers with adverse, for example, CCJs, defaults etc. This is mainly due to bridging loans posing a higher level of risk, so many lenders are not comfortable offering terms to these customers.
Ingard works with several bridging lenders who manually assess each case and take a common sense approach, rather than being restricted by stringent criteria. On many occasions, adverse may have been the result of a genuine unexpected life event or business failure and as long as we can demonstrate this, it provides the lender with the comfort they need.
Our team understands each lender’s ‘sweet spots’ and work hard to paint the full picture to the lender which enables us to negotiate competitive terms on your behalf.
For bridging loan cases where clients have historic adverse, we can offer:
- Bespoke rates
- LTVs up to 65%
- Manual underwriting
- Dedicated and experienced Specialist Team
- Speedy turnarounds
